Form.Print curated by Joshua DeMonte at Towson University's Center for the Arts Gallery CA on view February 1 - April 20, 2019 Form.Print explores the processes within digital fabrication. The challenge for participating artists is to create work that maximizes the unedited potential of additive and subtractive digital tools. Files submitted by artists will be fabricated on site by TU faculty and students. Foliaform at Silber Gallery, Goucher College; on view April 9 - June 2, 2019, opening reception Tuesday, April 9th 6 - 9 pm. Curated by Alex Ebstein. Silber will host Foliaform, a group exhibition that explores humans’ relationship with plants. The work approaches the subject from multiple perspectives, presenting this exchange as exploitative, curated, synthetic, immersive or an attempt to tame or manicure something innately wild. Featured artists include Ariel C. Foster (Goucher ’15) and Erick Antonio Benitez, Marissa Fein, James Williams, Adrienne Elise Tarver, and Lisa Dillin.
